Merrill College
Merrill College's theme, Cultural Identities and Global Consciousness, focuses on the relationship between the United States and the rest of the world to break down the barriers that divide cultures. Students study the struggles of peoples to preserve their cultural identity and current and past issues of global import. Programs housed at Merrill include history and Latin American and Latino studies.
Two large and two smaller residence halls accommodate 400 students or more. Students may choose coed, women-only, academic-intensive (residential honors and science majors program), smoke-free, cultural, or transfer halls. Apartments are available to about 150 transfer and continuing students.
