UC College Prep Initiative
    Mission:
Leveraging innovative technologies and the creativity and expertise within the University of California, UCCP develops open-access, online, high-quality, educational materials that students want to use.

UC Gateways
The intent of the UC Gateways project is to build a three-dimensional "gateway" using Internet-based and Intranet-based standards, that will enable more efficient access to data for use by university campuses, as well as the middle school and high school students who might be interested in higher education. The data consists of information about participating university programs, pre-collegiate outreach programs, and students who participate in each of these realms of attending the university.

UCSC Inn
The UCSC Inn, located in downtown Santa Cruz, provides housing for up to 248 UCSC students (new freshmen are not eligible for this housing option) during the academic year. There are also some guest rooms for short-term use by faculty, staff, and university visitors.

University Center
The University Center is the only facility of its kind on the UCSC campus. It will provide the campus community with space to accommodate scholarly and professional meetings, small conferences, summer programs and special events as well as a place for the campus community to relax, socialize and dine. The space is comprised of a full kitchen, large dining room, three conference rooms, a patio, bar and a large and comfortably furnished social space.

University Dining Services
The seven dining halls on campus offer a wide variety of choices at each meal. Students living in college residence halls are provided with meal plans as part of their residence contract. All other students, whether living on or off campus, may purchase a meal plan through the Campus Housing Office. Flexi-Dollars, a declining-balance plan, can be purchased with or without a meal plan. Flexi-Dollars may be used at campus cafes, coffee shops, and dining halls.

University Town Center (UTC)
The University Town Center, located at the corner of Pacific and Cathcart in downtown Santa Cruz, provides housing on the fourth and fifth floors in two- and three-person rooms with kitchenettes and private baths. UCSC students live cooperatively with students enrolled in University Extension’s English Language International (ELI) Program.
