  1. Save the Student Affairs Logo as separate file on your computer.
( Mac users: Save the Student Affairs Logo to the "Macintosh HD.")
  2. Open Thunderbird.
  3. Create a new email message (this will become your signature).
  4. Remove the two dashes that were added "--" before your signature.
  5. Select Insert > Image from the menu and choose the logo you saved in step 2.
Mac users note: Ensure the image location reads: /SA-World-Citizens-logo-email.jpg
  6. Click Do not use alternate text, then click OK.
  7. Add personal information under logo, if you do not already have a signature set up.
  8. Select File > Save as > File from the menu. Name and then save the signature file (e.g., mySignature.html). Check to make sure the file type (or format) is set as "HTML Files."
Setting Signature file:
  1. Select Tools > Account Settings.
  2. Check "attach this signature," if it's not checked already.
  3. Click Choose... and select the signature file you saved in step 7.
*Note that both the logo file and the signature file are required for the signature to function. If you move or delete either, the signature will not display properly.
